Body.Talk

The way I connect body, sensation and dialogue.

Have you ever noticed how you go about your day when you feel curious, light-hearted, open-minded and full of confidence? And what changes when you receive unexpected news, prepare for a difficult encounter or recall a challenging situation?

Suddenly, something changes: your shoulders tense up, your breathing becomes shallower, your head is full of thoughts, and you feel queasy.

The body often knows even before we can put it in words.

This is exactly where my work starts: with the body.talk Körper.Sprache.

Through perceiving, touching and moving. Through the curious exploration of what reveals itself.

What wants to be felt?
What to be seen?
What might have been inside you for a long time, waiting to be given space again?

Things are much easier when working together.
I’ll support you as you get in touch with your own feelings, become aware of them and learn to trust them.

After all, the body doesn’t just tell us what’s going on right now. It can also reveal something about our inner attitude to life.

The way we go through life, is reflected in our posture: whether we stand tall or hunch over, hold on or let go, take up space or withdraw.

And this connection works both ways: changes within the body can influence our inner attitude: a conscious breath, an upright spine, a new movement or the sensation of more space can set something in motion within us and open up new possibilities.

The second aspect of my work is dialogue.
I listen, ask questions, reflect and help you find the words to describe what may initially manifest itself only as a sensation, an image or a hunch.

In this way, a feeling can become something tangible – and your experience can lead to a new perspective. My aim here is not to give you ready-made answers. On the contrary: you are the expert on your own experience.

I would like to help you to strengthen your own awareness, recognise connections and discover ways in which you can incorporate what you experience here into your everyday life.

Therefore, my work also includes simple, practical ideas that can be easily incorporated into your life.

And perhaps most importantly: I want to create a space where everything is allowed to be there.
The heavy.
The light.
The questioning.
The contradictory.
Tears as well as laughter.

With the necessary seriousness and empathy – and with a good dose of humour and light-heartedness.

Denn Körperarbeit darf tief gehen. Aber sie muss nicht immer schwer sein.

Angel or Devil?
You don’t always decide what reveals itself within you.
But you can decide how you face it.

My methods

As well as Reiki, my approach also blends various kinesiological and systemic methods, as well as elements of dance. Which of these I choose to apply isn't determined by a fixed formula, but rather by what feels right and helpful for you and your particular concern at that moment.
